A Bike and Boat holiday highlights some of the world’s most stunning waterways. With great accommodation, a new view from your cabin every day and superb cycling routes, these holidays combine the best of both worlds.

For the duration of the tour you will stay on a charming boat or barge, which not only provides a unique lodging experience but also gives a great insight into the culture of each area. During the day you’ll explore routes by bike with your English-speaking guide before returning to the boat to enjoy a delicious meal with your fellow guests.

You are welcome to stay on board the boat on any given day if you fancy a day out of the saddle to put your feet up. Some tours offer shorter or longer options where you can jump on the boat part way through the day, or indeed join the group for their afternoon ride.

The tours range from self-guided parties of up to 60 people, riding in small, individual groups with a local leader close by ready to help with directions and emergencies, to smaller and more intimate fully-guided groups.
